Noah W. King, aged 76, a resident of this locality the greater part of his life, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lucille Havner, 4 miles west of here Friday morning, August 24th. He had been in failing health for several months.
Mr. King was born in Alabama, and as a child came to Arkansas with his parents. He was married to Miss May Spencer in 1900. To this union seven children were born, six surviving. His wife preceded him in death by six years.
Survivors included three sons, Junius King, Holcomb, MO, Hamp King, Old Joe, and Ernest King, Pasadena, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Havner, Old Joe, Mrs. Hattie Mayfield and Mrs. Willie Wendell of Calico Rock; one sister, Mrs. Annie Perry of Advance, AR; 27 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Lee Anderson of Mt. Home, were held Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Galatia Cemetery, with the Hall Funeral Service in charge.
Grandsons who served as pallbearers were; Charles Mayfield, Junior Mayfield, LeRoy Havner, Clarence Havner, Noah Lewis King and Carroll King. Grandsons in charge of flowers were; Robert Mayfield, Howard King and Billy King.

Those attending the funeral of Mr. Noah King at Old Joe were, Mrs. C.O. King, Ralph Perry, Eldon Lindsey and the Harley Burlesons.
