Jim King, age 65, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, in Mountain Home.

He was born August 29, 1947, in Mountain Home to Guy Richard and Alice Mae Smith King. A lifetime area native, he graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1965. Mr. King was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and had attended the Cowboy Church. He was co-owner of Guy King and Sons and enjoyed working in the family business since high school. He loved his family and enjoyed farming, raising cattle and hunting.

Survivors are: his wife: Mary King; one son: Richard (Candace) King: Mountain Home; two daughters: Kristi (Tim) Seawright: Mountain Home, and Stacy (John) Herman: Morris, Illinois; his mother: Alice King: Mountain Home; one brother: Paul (Sheila) King: Mountain Home; four grandchildren: Emma and Ben Seawright; Leslie and Mitchell Herman; two nephews and one niece; his former wife and close friend: Anita King: Mountain Home, and an uncle: Gene King: San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill House officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Home Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
