(No obituary has been located for Beverly Gwen King. She was listed in among the births and deaths reported in the county in January 20, 1933, issue of the 'The Baxter Bulletin'. This obituary was constructed from information supplied by Mary Lee Lackey Nelson and Emmit Dolan Acklin.)
Beverly Gwen King, two-year-old daughter of Raymond and Ellen Funkhouser King of Hopewell, died Saturday, July 9, 1932, of whooping cough.
Beverly Gwen King was born at Hopewell on March 20, 1930.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth 'Bett' King of Hopewell; her paternal grandfather and step grandmother, John Daniel King, Sr. and May King of Hopewell; her maternal grandparetns, Johnnie Funkhouser and Tilda Funkhouser of Hopewell; and her great grandparents, Tom and George Ann Hamilton of Hopewell. She is also survived by a large number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Interment was in the Galtaia Cemetery at Old Joe.
