Janice B. Bowen, 38, a lifetime resident of Springdale, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1993, at Springdale.
She was born July 13, 1954, to Elvin Evert and Daisy Holcomb Shepherd.
She was a former employee of Springdale Farms and was a Baptist.
Survivors include: her husband, Vernon Bowen; her father, Elvin Shepherd of the home; two stepsons, James Bowen and Ray Bowen, both of the home; a daughter, Becky Hill of the home; two stepdaughters, Linda Shockley of Tulsa, Okla., and Judy Kelly of Rogers; four brothers, Eugene H. Shepherd, Charles E. Shepherd, Jimmy R. Shepherd, and Chester L. Shepherd, all of Springdale; three sisters, Betty Joe Shepherd and Barbara Ann Barnett, both of Springdale, and Alberta Ruth Starnes of Fayetteville; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel at Springdale with the Rev. Cecil Garrison.
Burial is to be in Friendship Cemetery.
