When William Hathaway FLOWERS was born on March 2, 1894, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, his father, Benjamin, was 43 and his mother, Angeline, was 34. He married Nancy Jane Carr on August 3, 1910. They had ten children in 24 years. He died on March 20, 1961, in Conway, Arkansas, at the age of 67, and was buried in his hometown.
