When Louis Jeff Flowers was born on July 3, 1868, his father, Henry, was 19 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 18. He married Nancy Ann Polk on October 16, 1890. They had three children in 10 years. He died on March 21, 1952, in Morrilton, Arkansas, at the age of 83, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
