When James Hulen Flowers was born on September 30, 1924, in Arkansas, his father, Thomas, was 37 and his mother, Mollie, was 27. He married on March 3, 1945. He had one child during his marriage. He died on March 20, 1973, at the age of 48, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
