Mrs. Myrtle H. Hughes, 75, Rt. 1, Springdale, died Aug. 11 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1900, at Mangum, Okla., she was the daughter of William and Ariel Davidson Holton. She moved to Springdale from Houston, Tex., in 1949 and was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Watters R. Hughes of the home; and one brother, Lewis Holton, Clueston, Fla.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Burial will be in, Thornsberry Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle H. Hughes, 75, Rt. 1, Springdale, were held today at 2 p.m. in St. Thomas Episcopal Church with the Rev. Fred Barbee officiating. Burial was in Thornsberry Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel.
Pallbearers were Bill Gause, Roy Bowman, John Coan, George Pressler, Charles Lindsay and Weldon DeBoard.
