Hobson H. Hughes, 53, a retired blacksmith, died this morning in City Hospital, after an illness of two weeks. He was born at Brentwood, son of the late Sam and Abigail Hughes, and was married in 1915 to Miss Hattie May Parrish. Survivors are his wife; one son, Virgil of Brentwood; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Hoover of Brentwood; five grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Hughes of Wild Cherry, Ark,. and Joe of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Stout of Shelton, Wash.
Funeral arrangements, under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home are incomplete.
