Wife of Truman R Parson
Pat Parson, 70, of Huntsville died June 5, 2006, at her home. She was born Nov. 6, 1935, in Bloomington, Ill., to William and Fran Lockhart Shetler. She was an assistant dietitian at Huntsville Memorial Hospital and most recently a laboratory technician at local clinics. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Ray Parson, on Nov. 8, 1976.
Survivors include her husband, Truman R. Parson of the home; one son, Curren C. Parson and wife Carla of Springdale; one daughter, Mellonie Autry and husband James of Huntsville; one sister, Mikki Alger of Huntington Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Huntsville Cemetery with the Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating.
Arrangements are by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be James Autry, Bobby Parker, Shannon Downum, Brian Caler, Justin Blisard and Lyn Falkner.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
