Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock at the Brashears Funeral Home Chapel for Max Parson, who was killed in a car wreck Monday night.
Max was born January 2, 1946 in California, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Parson of Route 5, Huntsville. The family returned to Arkansas when he was still preschool age. He was a fifth grade student at the Huntsville Grade School.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two half-brothers, H. L. and Aldred Parson of the home, a half-sister, Mrs. Dewell Jones of Springdale; and his maternal and paternal grandmothers, Mrs. P. S. Maxwell and Mrs. Bertha Parson of Huntsville.
Rev. Sam Auslam of Springdale will conduct the funeral services, and burial will be in the Huntsville cemetery under the direction of the Brashears Funeral Home.
