Miss Madge Billingsley Dead
The sad news reached here last Saturday, telling of the death of Miss Madge Billingsley, who died at her home at Franklin last Saturday morning, the 10th. She had been troubled with appendices for several months. Her condition grew serious three or four months ago and she has been confined to her bed almost continuously since then.
The death of this estimable young lady came as a shock to everyone, as she had formed a most intimate acquaintance with a large circle of friends, who held her in the highest esteem. She grew seriously ill soon after her last visit here last spring. Deceased was twenty-one years and twenty-one days old at the time of her death. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs T. N. Billingsley of Franklin and a granddaughter of Mr and Mrs S. L. Guthrie of this place.
Burial took place at the Roberts Cemetery, near Franklin, Sunday
