Son of Arch A. & Hannah Roberts Billingsley.
Married Zelma E. Barnes, October 26, 1930, Violet Hill, Izard County, Arkansas.

G. Ray Billingsley of Marshall, Missouri, son of the late Arch A. and Hannah Roberts Billingsley, was born July 20, 1910 in Franklin. He died July 28, 1997 at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, Missouri. He was 87.
Mr. Billingsley was united in marriage to Zelma E. Barnes October 26, 1930 in Violet Hill. He was a retired farmer and mechanic and a member of the Lenexa Christian Center in Lenexa, Kansas.
Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Pauline and John Thomas of Marshall, Missouri, Betty and Marion Thompson of Fremont, California; Barbara and Jerry Bramlett of Overland Park, Kansas; one brother, Aubrey Billingsley of Franklin; one sister Ruby Adams of Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lenexa Christian Center in Lenexa, Kansas with Reverend Chris Winn officiating and Saturday, August 2, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church in Violet Hill.
Interment will be Saturday, August 2, 1997 at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Memorials may be made to the Lenexa Christian Center or the Assembly of God in Marshall.
