Mrs. Josie Billingsley, wife of T.N. Billingsley, of Franklin, died at her home at that place on Thursday afternoon of last week, June 22nd and was buried in the Franklin cemetery Friday. Funeral serviced being conducted by Rev. Davis. Deceased was 47 years of age.
Mrs. Billingsley has been in ill health for a year or more of heart trouble and a short time ago suffered a slight stroke of paralysis, though she was not thought to be in any immediate danger till a short time preceding her demise, dying rather suddenly. She was born and reared near Franklin and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Guthrie of this place. Mrs. Billingsley was the ideal Christian type of woman and her death brings deep regret and sorrow to every one.
Besides her husband and parents, deceased is survived by two sons, two daughters, two sisters and one brother.
