Kenneth E. Reed
SANFORD, Texas — Kenneth Eugene Reed, 83, of Sanford died Feb. 27, 2002, at his home. He was born Feb. 23, 1919, in Cane Hill to Thomas Lloyd and Dorcas Cox Reed. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Borger, Texas, where he had been a youth director, Sunday school superintendent, deacon and honorary deacon. He was an Air Force veteran. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Nanna V. Knox Reed, to whom he was married Oct. 20, 1945; two daughters, Karne Packebush of Thornton, Colo., and Yvonne Cleveland and husband Steve of Duncan, Okla.: two grandsons; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Reese Cemetery at Prairie Grove.
