Marlyn Dean Reed
PERRYVILLE — Marlyn Dean Reed, 82, of Perryville died Feb. 7, 2004, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was born July 19, 1921, in Oxford, Iowa, to Marlyn Franklin and Edna Brauner Reed. He was a member of the Summers Missionary Baptist Church, and a former deacon and song leader in the Baptist church. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked in the public school system in California, housing construction industry and the poultry industry.
He was preceded in death by one son, Otha James Reed; and one daughter, Cora Jeanette Reed.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Marinell Reed, one son, Marlyn Wayne Reed and wife Sylvia of Perryville; one daughter, Judy Winsted and husband Eddie of Evansville; five grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Vineyard Cemetery near Evansville, with the Rev. David Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.

EVANSVILLE — Marinell Tucker Reed, 88, of Evansville died March 18, 2009, at Stilwell (Okla.) Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 13, 1921, in Oklahoma City to Otha and Bertha Sellers Tucker.
Marinell worked in Perry county as a senior companion for the Area Council for the Aging. She was a USDA inspector for the poultry business and drove a school bus for eight years in California. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn Dean Reed; a son, Otha James Reed; and a daughter, Cora Jeanette Reed.
Survivors include a son, Marlyn Wayne Reed and wife Sylvia of Washington state; a daughter, Judy Winsted and husband Eddie of Evansville; five grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Vineyard Cemetery in Evansville, with David Harris officiating.
Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, online at www.luginbuel.com.
