Janie Ruth Reed

LINCOLN — Janie Ruth Reed, 61, of Lincoln died Nov. 13, 2005, at her home. She was born July 25, 1944, in Wauriki, Okla., to Johnny Wayne and Jessie Ruth Prince White.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoin, a substitute teacher for Lincoln schools and an award-winning decorator for Home Interior.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Leo Reed of the home; two sons, Harold Leo "Butch" Reed Jr., and Heath Leon Reed, both of Lincoln; two daughters, Jacqueline Renae "Jackie" Griffin and husband Jim of Siloam Springs, and Janna Ruth Bennett and husband K.B. of Caney, Kan.; one brother, Johnny Wayne White Jr. of Joshua, Texas; two sisters, Barbara Chapman of Edmond, Okla., and Debbie Fall of Lewisville, Texas; eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Lincoln, with Earl W. Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Reese Cemetery near Clyde.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Griffin, Lee Griffin, Trey Reed, Van Jay Reed, Timmy Reed and Franke Curtis.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.

Memorials may be made to Reese Cemetery, 15996 Greasy Valley WC 8, Prairie Grove, 72753.
