Lincoln - Clyde Raymond Reed, 79, of Lincoln, died in a Fayetteville hospital Sunday. Born Aug. 19, 1890 at Mountain Grove, the son of Frank Isaac and Minnie Bayliss Reed, he was a member of the Church of Christ and the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors are 11 sons, Frank, Robert, Jack and George, all of Lincoln, Clarence and Charles, both of Albany, Ill., Donald of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Harvey of Davenport, Iowa, George and Albert of Cincinnati and Alfred of Rhea; three daughters, Mrs. Mable Petitt of Tahlequah, Okla., Mrs. Barbara Atha of Westville, Okla. and Mrs. Minnie Horah of Fort Smith; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Smith of Texas; 56 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service he at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lincoln Church of Christ with burial in Beaty Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Lincoln — Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Reed, 68, of Lincoln, died in a Fayetteville hospital this morning. She was born Oct. 5, 1897 at Siloam Springs and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are her husband, Clyde R. Reed of the home; 11 sons, Frank R., Robert J., George N., Jack A., Shug and Charles W. all of Lincoln; Albert L. and Grover C. both of Summers, Donald E., Harvey W. and Clarence W., all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three daughters, Mrs. Mable Pettit of Park Hill, Okla., Mrs. Minnie Horah of Fayetteville and Mrs. Barbara Atha of Westville, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Blaine Connelly and Mrs. Mable Chillings both of Aurora, Colo.; 55 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Christ in Lincoln with burial in Beaty Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
