SILOAM SPRINCS — Donald Edgar Reed, 77, of Siloam Springs died April 27, 2006, at Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 31, 1928, in Qualls, Okla., to Clyde Raymond and Ruth Elizabeth Bacon Reed.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Waite Reed.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Jacquelyn Lanier Reed of the home; one daughter, Florence Elizabeth Reed Van Horn of Prairie Grove; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three brothers, Albert Reed, Alfred "Shug" Reed and Harvey Reed; two sisters, Barbara Reed Atha and Minnie Reed Fielding; two stepdaughters, Dawn D. Guthrie and Myla D. Phillips and husband Tommy.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, online at www.luginbuel.com. Charles Cash will officiate. Burial will be in Beaty Cemetery near Lincoln.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ in Lincoln.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Reed, Jr. Reed, Lee Reed, Leslie Reed, Wesley Reed, Clayton Reed, Carlos Reed, Chuck Reed, Harvey Reed II, Jason Reed, Randy Atha, Phil Fielding, Clyde Wiliam Reed, William Pettit and Robert Earl Reed.
