Arnold McGinty, age 62, of Greenbrier was called home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2012. He was born in Greenbrier, Arkansas on September 28, 1949 to the late Cecil and Willie McGinty. As a very accomplished musician, he could play any instrument. He had a special kind of love for his family and life. His easy going nature gained him many friends. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Reda; and one granddaughter, Hope Gabrielle.
Arnold is survived by one son, Marty McGinty; two daughters, Frances Langley and Amanda Smart; Chad McGinty, which he thought of as a son; two grandsons Brandon and Spencer; one granddaughter Kayla; fiancée JoAnn; four brothers Dalton, Landel, Danny and Darrell; three sisters Mary, Geanie, and Diane; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers were Aaron, Allen, and Doyle Wayne, Darrell, Kenny, and Tanner. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin, Jeremy, Derek, and Eric.
