Alma Blanch McGinty, age 89, of Greenbrier died October 26, 2004. She was born May 25, 1915 in Guy, Arkansas, daughter of the late Tom and Doshie Acre Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: Claud Travis McGinty, by six brothers and five sisters. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Greenbrier.
She is survived by her daughter: Mary Tubbs and husband Russell of Greenbrier, by her granddaughter: Lisa Goodnight and husband Randy of Greenbrier, by her two great-grandchildren: R.J. and Jenny Goodnight, as well as many beloved family members and friends.
A special thank you for Hospice Home Care and the wonderful caregivers: Lois McKenzie and Barbara Land.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home (501.679.2575) in Greenbrier.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2004 at the Roller McNutt Greenbrier Chapel officiated by Rev. Bob Turner with burial in Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy. Pallbearers will be: J.L. Lane, Travis Lane, Billy Don Lane, Randy Goodnight, Eddie Bettis, and Lango Garrett. Honorary Pallbearers are: R.J. Goodnight, Mike Wright, Lee Fits, and Woodrow Bettis.
