Danny Joe McGinty, 69, of Greenbrier went to be with the lord Friday, May 08, 2015. He was born September 27, 1945 in Greenbrier. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Willie McGinty; sister Reda Childers; two brothers Landel and Arnold McGinty.

Danny celebrated 29 years of sobriety. He retired after many years of service as a mechanic at the C.A.T. Company in Little Rock. He received the Lord as his personal savior and attended McGintytown Church of God. Danny was a great musician and loved playing country music. He was a loving husband, father, and papa. He was loved and will be missed by many.

Danny is survived by his wife Betty; two daughters Melissa Treece (Charles) of Conway and Denise Shaw (Kenny) of Greenbrier; step-daughter Donna Kea (Jerry) of Lone Oak, TX.; step-son Ronald Covington of Vilonia; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters Mary Rickett of Cabot, Geanie Wickliffe of North Little Rock and Diane Frizzell (Ted) of Quitman; two brothers Dalton McGinty (Martha) of North Little Rock and Darrell McGinty (Anita) of Guy and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Funeral service will be at 3:00pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Brother Dicky Harris officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday, May 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
