David Lee Oxford, 83, of Herington, Kan. died Saturday in Onaga, Kan. He was born July 13, 1897 in Arkansas.
He was a Jehovah's Witness and a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Lucile Fields Oxford, of the home; two sons, Dallas Oxford of West Fork, and Dale Oxford of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Mavis Lynch and Anis Cranford, both of Rogers, Hessie Fields of Havensvile, Kan., and Ruth Frank of Seligman, Mo.; one sister, Velma Roberts of Rogers; three brothers, Bill Oxford of Forum, and Lum and Harvey Oxford, both of War Eagle and 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Burns Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Burial will be in Rambo Cemetery, under the direction of Burns Funeral Home in Rogers.
Visitation will be from 5-7 tonight in Burns Funeral Chapel, Rogers.
