SELIGMAN, Mo. — Anthony Oxford, 52, of Seligman died Oct. 21, 2008, at Cassville, Mo. He was born April 21, 1956, in Rogers to Virgil and Janet Reeves Oxford.

He grew up in Rogers and Pea Ridge before moving to Seligman more than 25 years ago. He was a self-employed construction worker and enjoyed woodworking, fishing and music. He was a Baptist and a member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Oxford and wife Katie of Noel, Mo.; eight brothers, John Oxford of Brightwater, Gary Oxford of Cassville, Mo., Mikey Oxford, Alan Oxford, and Douglas Oxford, Daryl Oxford, and Brandon Oxford and Jimmy Oxford, all of Seligman; two sisters, Teresa Wubker of Cassville and Nita Robins of Pineville; his grandson, Donovan Oxford of Noel, Mo.

A graveside service was Oct. 24 at Rambo Cemetery southeast of Rogers.

Arrangements were by White Funeral Home in Cassville.
