GRAVETTE — Jesse Vern Oxford, 79, of Gravette died Feb. 14, 2011, at home. He was born Feb. 28, 1931, in Clifty to Virgil Monroe and Myrtle Mae Kirk Oxford.
He was a self-employed brick mason and enjoyed going to flea markets.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Long and wife, Jacque, of Sallisaw, Okla., Jackie Oxford and wife, Trisha, of Garfield, and Jo Dean Oxford of Pea Ridge; four daughters, Judy Bowen and husband, Leonard, of Huntsville. Donna France and husband, Gary, of Pea Ridge, Sue Adams of Alex, Okla., and Linda Hook and husband, Wayne, of Gravette; two sisters including, June Ingram of Avoca; 16 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge.
Burial will be at Buttrams Chapel Cemetery.
