Rogers - Virgil M. Oxford, 74, of Rogers, died Monday in the Rogers Hospital. Born July 13, 1898 in Boxley, he was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors are three sons, Jim of Ponca City, Okla., Franklin of Pineville, Mo. and Jesse V of Rogers; six daughters, Miss Roaslea Oxford of Noel, Mo., Mrs. Edith Thole of Goodman, Mo., Mrs. Viola France and Mrs. Kathleen Cox of Rogers, Mrs. June Ingram of Avoca and Mrs. Wanda Faye Howell of Wichita, Kan.; 48 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Chapel with burial in Rambo Cemetery.
