Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Warren, Arkansas, for Mrs E J G Carter, 69, who died at her home here on Monday. Deceased is survived by her husband; two daughters; Mrs Mabel Foster of Gramby, MO, and Mrs R E Ward of Telephone, AR; three sons, E A Carter of Ruston, and E S Carter of Minden, LA; three brothers, Willie and Roy Jeffus of Camden, AR and Marvin Jeffus of Long Beach, CA; one sister, Mrs W A Smith of Louann, AR, and thirteen grandchildren. Rev I K Cross, pastor of the County Avenue Baptist church, officiated at the final rites, assisted by Rev Lee Mosley.
