Sylvia Diana Carter, age 90, of Cantonment, Florida died March 8, 2007. She was born March 13, 1916 in Eastville, Virginia a daughter of the late Sam Saks and Edith Nelson Saks. She was a bookkeeper for Carter Sheet Metal Company. Surviving was her husband Claude I. Carter whom she married on July 21, 1950; 1 son George Carter, Pekin, Ill; 1 daughter Jennifer C. Accongio, Cantonment, Fla; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A son Richard D. Browne, 2 brothers Robert Saks and David Saks and a sister Annette Simon also preceded her in death. Graveside services 12:00 noon Sunday, May 6, at Ebenezer Cemetery near Warren.
