PINEVILLE — Mary Eve Moody Brown, 87, of Pineville died Monday, July 3, 2006, in a Calico Rock hospital.
Born Dec. 24, 1918, in Hand, she was the daughter of William Byler Moody and Deliah Williams Moody. She was united in marriage to Leonard M. Brown on July 27, 1940. She was a homemaker and a member of Wises Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Killian Leach of Mountain Home, Norma Killian of Calico Rock, Carolyn Galloway of Wenatchee, Wash., and Margaret Banning of Melbourne; a sister, Reble Deliah Moody Ivie of Melbourne; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers, Elmer Moody, Wes Moody, Will Moody, Ott Moody, Garland Moody and Clifton Moody; and four sisters, Don Hickman, Ide Russell, Elsie Drown and Myrtle Moody.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today at Wises Chapel Cemetery with Mike Haney officiating. Arrangements were by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Pallbearers were Gayland Ivie, Dale Ivie, Rayburn Ivie, Bobby Whiteaker, Raymond Moody and Larry Moody.
Honorary pallbearers were Bob Killian, Benny Banning, Marty Killian, John Galloway, Jimmy Simpson, Bob Miller and Roy Killian III.
Memorials may be made to Wises Chapel Cemetery Fund in Pineville.
