There are eight home-crafted markers in a row with only the surname of Brown inscribed. The apparent age of the markers gives the appearance that these are not "reserved" markers. Instead it appears as the markers were placed at some point after the individuals' deaths and the ones that placed the markers were aware that the graves were those of Brown family members, but unsure of the first names or the location order of the family members.
