Oxford Child Passes

James Timothy Brown was born June 8, 1959 and passed away at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock, at the age of six months and twenty days.

Besides his parents Mr. and Mrs. Norman Brown he is survived by his paternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. Edd Brown, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Angie Floyd, several uncles, aunts, cousins and many other relatives.

Memorial services were conducted at the Oxford Methodist-Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon, December 29 with Rev. Remmel Rowden officiating. The song service was directed by Earl Dillard, accompanied by Miss Norma Ruth Shaver at the piano.

Concluding services were held and burial was made in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Herbert Moss, Thearl Dillard, Bill Brown and Freddy Floyd.
