Services May 25 For Columbus W. Brown Held In Sage
Columbus Walker Brown, 68, passed away May 22. Mr Brown was born in Stone County in 1890. Moving to Izard County, he married the late Mrs Nancy Brown. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He had been in ill health for a number of years.
Mr Brown is survived by three sons; Carl Brown of North Little Rock, Green Brown of Sage and Warren Brown of California; one brother, Leonard Brown of Mt. View; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. in the Sage Baptist Church, May 25. The Rev. Hugh Cooper and Rev. Noble Wiles officiated. Interment was in the Caney Springs Cemetery. The Hall Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
