Robert Lee Brown, 63, of Southside died September 28, 2014.
Born February 20, 1951, in Marysville, Tennessee, he was the son of Leroy Melvin Brown and Madge Delores
Stevens Brown.
He was a former deputy sheriff in Izard, Sharp and Independence Counties and was an over-the-road truck
driver. He was a “jack of all trades” and enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, water sports, and driving race cars
at the Batesville Motor Speedway. He loved God and his family and truly enjoyed life and making people
laugh.
Survivors include a daughter, Rachelle Ray of Rocklin, California; two brothers, James Brown of Charlotte,
Tennessee and Larry Edward Brown of Melbourne, Arkansas; a sister, Karen Watts of Sage, Arkansas; and
three grandchildren, Ericka Ray, Billy Ray and Hannah Ray all of Rocklin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Richard Clayton Brown.
Funeral services were private
