Funeral services for Acie Allen Dickerson, 68, of Jordan will be held at 10AM today at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Troy Melton officiating. Interment will be in the Galatia Cemetery south of Norfork. Visitation was held yesterday from 12 noon to 9PM at the Roller Chapel.
Born June 6, 1915, at Norfork, Mr. Dickerson was the son of Mary F. Lackey Dickerson and Ollie R. Dickerson. He had resided for most of his life in Norfork, but had been employed as an orchard worker at fruit farms in Washington State. He was a Protestant.
Sruvivors include two sons, James Dickerson of Portland, OR and Charles Dickerson of Arkansas; one daughter, Mary Medley of Independence, MO; two brothers, Austin Lackey of Gassville and George Dickerson of Jordan; three sisters; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death my his wife and by his parents.
