James Brent Smith, 60 of Walnut Ridge, died Sunday December 20, 2020 at his residence.

He was born February 10, 1960 in Walnut Ridge, AR to James Smith & Deanna Janice Pearce. He was a loving Christian patriarch. He was a truck driver for a fertilizer company and attended United Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Deanna; daughter, Whitney Smith; and sister, Rhonda Middleton.

He is survived by his daughter, Racheal (Jonathan) Bennett of Bono; son, Adam (Erika) Smith of Hoxie; stepmother, Mildred Smith, of Minturn; grandchildren, Blake Bennett, Zakery Bennett, Griffin Bennett, Rylee Smith, & Maddox Smith; and many other friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday December 26, 2020 beginning at 11:00AM at Cache River Pentecostal Church near Sedgwick with Glenn Smith and Rick Hart officiating.

Burial will be privately held by the family.
