Joe Smith
Walnut Ridge-Joe Smith, 59, of Ravenden (Lawrence County) died Tuesday in a Joliet, Ill., hospital. He had been employed in an industrial plant at Joliet. He had lived there many years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Willie Mae Smith; three sons, Berl Smith and Charles Smith of Flint, Mich., and David Smith of Joliet; four daughters, Mrs. Reba Smith and Mrs. Marcella Stewart of St Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Midge Stultz and Mrs. Louise Horton of Flint; a brother, Henry Smith of LaCenter, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Garrison of St. Louis, and 20 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are by Higginbotham Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
