LOWELL — William Byars Carter, 83, of Lowell passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born March 1, 1936, in Lowell, Ark., to Feaster and Bonnie Byars Carter.
Bill served in the Navy and graduated from the University of Arkansas. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed a lifetime of recitals and ball games.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Carter.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Shirley Carter of the home; daughters Missy Beeman and husband David of Lowell and Sarah Perdue and husband Craig of Lowell; brother Jim Carter and wife Carol of Lowell; grandchildren Sadie, Ella and Will and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale with Gary Thomas officiating.
