SPRINGDALE — Charles Theodore Carter, 75, of Springdale, Ark., died Nov. 20, 2017, at Fayetteville Health and Rehab in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Dec. 8, 1941, at Huntsville, Ark., the son of John Leasel and Fannie C. Reynolds Carter.
He was a retired grocery store manager and was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Leasel Carter and one sister, Lavera Keck.
Survivors include: his wife, Dixie Faye Middleton Carter of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles Wayne Carter of Springdale, Ark., and Bruce and Andrea Carter of Hindsville, Ark.; one brother and sister-in-law, Crawford Issac and Barbara Carter of Haysville, Kan.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Loletta Phillips of Lowell, Ark., and Lorena and Bobby Middleton of Huntsville, Ark.; one grandson, Hunter Carter of Hindsville, Ark., and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Lovena Tyson officiating. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Springdale, Arkansas under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be: Randy Middleton, Lance Middleton, Rodney Middleton, Rick Reed, Gary Keck and Larry Keck. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday at Brashears.
