The Mountain Echo
August 17, 1932
The Echo last week stated that George Beavers of Buffalo had committed suicide. This was an error - we have been informed that it was Thos. Beavers, an ex-service man. He left no children. He shot himself in the head with a double-barreled shot gun and death was instantaneous. The evidence showed that he fired two shots - the first having missed, and the evidence showed that he extracted the shell, placed it on a table, reloaded the gun and fired again, with fatal results.
