Donald R. Hayes, 77, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas died June 28, 2014 in his home. Born April 8, 1937 in Knobel, Arkansas, he was the son of Crockett and Maudie (Fowler) Hayes. He and Jackie Baker were married November 1, 1958 in Corning, Arkansas. Mr. Hayes was a retired die cast operator for Franklin Electric. He was a member of Eastgate Church of Christ, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald and Larry Hayes.

Survivors include his wife Jackie of the home; daughter Donna Carnes of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two sons Jeff Hayes and wife Debbie of Flint Ridge, Oklahoma and Tim Hayes and wife Kim of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren Michael Hayes, Felisha Vaughn, Joshua Carnes, John Carnes, Todd Carnes, Misty Curtis, Tomi Sue Carnes, Nicholas Hayes, Bridget Hayes and Candace Hayes; adopted granddaughter Kat Cox; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Jim Hayes of Corning, Arkansas; numerous other family members and a large church family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Eastgate Church of Christ, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Mr. Charles Cash, Mr. Larry Ellis and Mr. Carl Dye. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
