HAYES, Zora Bell - Miss Zora Bell Hayes, daughter of J.P. and Mary E. Hayes, died Saturday, October 25th at her home on North C street. Funeral services were held at the home Monday at ten o'clock, Rev. C.A. Rogers officiating. The funeral was attended by many friends who gathered to pay their last respects to the memory of the deceased. Miss Hayes was 25 years, nine months and ten days old. Death was the result of tuberculosis with which she had suffered for some time. She went to Colorado the last of May hoping that the change might benefit her but finding that she was steadily failing she returned to Rogers the last of August to await the end. She was patient in her illness and always had a smile for everyone. She leaves a father and mother, five sisters and three brothers to mourn her departure, as well as a large circle of friends. She was a kind and loving daughter and sister and her place in the home can never be filled.
