HAYES, Eliza Ellen Setser - Eliza Ellen Hayes died at her home in the south part of town Christmas day following an illness of some weeks. The deceased was born in Benton county in 1876 and spent her entire life in this county, the greater part in and near Gravette. She was married to John Setser in 1902 and to them were born two children, Orval and Mrs. Edith Phillips, both of Gravette. She was married to A. Hayes in 1916 to which union one son, Arthur, was born. She united with the Holiness church many years ago and lived a true Christian life until death. Her children were all with her at death. Burial was made at the Word cemetery Tuesday, Dec. 26th where a short funeral service was held, conducted by brother Ballard.
