MILLER, Mary E. - Mrs. Mary E. Miller, 74 years old, died Monday night after a long illness caused by a fall last winter when she suffered a broken hip. The funeral was held at the First Baptist church yesterday morning and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. A.A. Dulaney. Mrs. Miller is survived by 3 children: James and Ira Miller and Mrs. Ida Jolly, all of Rogers, and 9 grandchildren; Frank, Florence, Finis and Fred Miller, Mrs. Dean Walker of Hugo, Okla. and Bertha, Lucy, Leota and Ruth Osborne. The Miller family came to Rogers from Indiana in 1893 and lived north of town on the Pea Ridge road until after the death of the husband and father some 25 years ago. Mrs. Miller made her home with her son, Jim, and until rendered helpless by her accident, took an active interest in all local happenings. She had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances and was a woman of many splendid qualities.
