GENTRY — Derek James Miller, 81, of Gentry died July 11, 2011, at his home. He was born Sept. 7, 1929, in Moline, Ill., to Harvey Lincoln and Elsie Anderson Miller.

He was an Army veteran and retired from Simmons Foods after 28 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; four sons, Billy Miller and wife Rose, and Tommy Miller and wife Aleta, all of Gentry, Danny Miller and wife Paula of McDonald, Tenn., and Skipper Miller and wife Shannon of Hixon, Tenn.; a brother; a sister; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Burial will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery, near Gentry.

Married August 17, 1958
