Sallie Ann Evans, 98, of Elkins died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at her home. She was born Feb. 27, 1907, in Temple Hill, the daughter of William and Molly Osburn Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Evans; two daughters, three granddaughters, one grandson, four sisters and four brothers.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by one son, Ralph Evans of Wichita, Kan.; four daughters, Margie Barnard of Valley Springs, Virgie Nobles and Ruth Hankins, both of Elkins and Darlere Gulledge of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Bobby Boles officiating.
Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Moore's.
In liew of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice, 34 W. Colt Square; Suite 1, Fayetteville, 72703.
