Mrs. Thelma May Evans, 60, of Fayetteville, died April 13 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born March 22, 1918, at Pitcher, Okla., she was the daughter of John William and Della May Prater Estep and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur L. Evans Sr. of the home to whom she had been married 44 years; two sons, Arthur Lee Evans Jr. of Springdale and Donald Bruce Evans of Brentwood; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Ruth Chase of Crest Hill, Ill. and Mrs. Vivian Ann Rash of Westminster, Calif.; two brothers, Carl Estep of Salem, Mo. and Virgil Estep of Modesto, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Calvary Baptist Church, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Emile A. Rousseau officiating. Burial will be in Falls Creek Cemetery, Strickler, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Donald Evans, Lee Evans, Dennis Harrelson, Michael Chase, Harley Prater and Bill Payne.
