Barbara Anne Evans, 76, of Springdale died Thursday, March 2, 1995, at a local hospital.
Born Oct. 17, 1918, at Schuyler, Neb., a daughter of Joseph and Mamie Horak Vrba, she was a retired teacher and a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Springdale.
Survivors are her husband, Grant Evans of the home; two daughters, Elaine Bailey of Lincoln, Neb., and Carol Tatman of Springdale; three brothers, Charles Vrba of Schuyler, Ted Vrba of Cresco, Pa., and Lambert Vrba of Wynot, Neb.; four sisters, Alice Loseke of Schuyler, Helene Payzant of Columbus, Neb., Norma Kitterman of Malakoff, Texas, and Patricia Day of Palmdale, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Memorial Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. John Wrench officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Springdale.
