GARFIELD — Jewell Blanche Dean, 90, of Garfield died Jan. 21, 2006, at her home. She was born Mar. 21, 1915, in Garfield to Frank and Demie Shepherd Patton. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the area. She married Marvin James Dean on Oct. 1, 1938. She was a member of Twelve Corners Baptist Church, was a Sunday School teacher, and enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, quilting and reading. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a son, Gene Dean and wife Patricia Kay of Garfield; a sister, Ruth Patterson of Garfield; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Twelve Corners Baptist Church, with Rick Booyer officiating. Burial will he in Buttram Chapel Cemetery, east of Pea Ridge.
Visitation win be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge.
