Harold King Dean, 68, of Pea Ridge, died Monday, April 26, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rogers. He was born June 22, 1924, at Brightwater, to Arthur A. and Rosie Ann Howell Dean.

A lifetime area resident, he worked for the Bella Vista Parks Department, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors are his wife, Leta Faye Dean of the home; two sons, Terry Dean of Tulsa, Okla., and Kevin Dean of Pea Ridge; four daughters, Delores Curtis of Rogers, Shirley Roberts and Peggy Wilkerson, both of Pea Ridge, and Anita Howell of Garfield; a sister, Inez Farmer of Kansas City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service and burial are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Pea Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Wilcox officiating under direction of Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge. Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

PEA RIDGE — Leta Faye (Wood) Dean, 85, of Pea Ridge passed away Sept. 8, 2015, at Ashley Health and Rehab in Rogers.

She was born April 9, 1930, in Pea Ridge to Stephen Granvil Wood and Cora Branham Wood.

Leta was a lifelong resident of Pea Ridge and married Harold Kay Dean on March 1, 1947. She worked for years at the Pea Ridge Canning Company and retired from Cobb-Ventris. She lived a simple life with many friends and a crazy, large family, she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Dean in 1993; five brothers; three sisters and a grandson. Survivors are two sons, Terry Dean and wife Marcia of Springdale, Kevin Dean and wife Sharron of Anderson, Mo.; four daughters, Patty Curtis and husband Rex of Rogers, Shirley Palmer of Pineville, Mo., Peggy Dotson of Alma, Ark. and Anita Garrison and husband Mike of Bella Vista; a sister, Barbara Ginn and husband John of Centerton, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are set for 3:30p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at Pea Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home before the service.

Family and friends are invited to the Pea Ridge Community Room after the service for fellowship. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pea Ridge High School Scholarship Fund (Nursing Program), 132 N Curtis Street Pea Ridge Ark. 72751 Attn: Kim Brown.
