Beaver -- Rhoda Rebecca Dean, 58, died Tuesday at her home west of Beaver. Born July 26, 1905 in Carroll County, the daughter of George H. and Mandy McCawley Thomas, she was a member of the Eureka Springs Assembly of God Church. Survivors include the husband, Ira Dean of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Maxine Stokes, Bowling Green, Ky., Mrs. Oleta Kimbrough, Pine Bluff, Mrs. Mary Alice Berry, Mrs. Clara Tomlinson and Miss Bertha Dean, all of Fayetteville, and Miss Freida Dean of the home; two sons, Fred, Bonner Springs, Kan. and Lawrence, Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Joe Thomas, Berryville, Noah Thomas, Rupert, Idaho and John Thomas, Glide, Ore.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Assembly of God Church at Eureka Springs. Burial will be in Reddick Cemetery near Garfield under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville.
